Roller working surface should be to pay attention to the implementation of fine machining, this is to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface roughness. The roughness should be above Ra0.16. There should be no pores or grooves. The wall thickness of the working surface of the roller should also be kept even, otherwise, the temperature of the roller surface will be uneven, which will affect the quality of the product itself.
The material of roller should have good thermal conductivity. Generally speaking, chilled cast iron will be used. In special cases, cast steel or molybdenum chromium alloy steel will be used. And this roller in the design, must be convenient for us to process, the cost is relatively low.
